Hi Fireant,
Sorry to see that you're leaving us. I can see that we tried to resolve the speed issue through the fault you raised(#62855566), the fault remains open and if in the meantime prior to you leaving you want this investigating further then please let us know.

Re: broadband speed

Hi chris yeah id like it still looked into if you can but ive just ordered my new phone and broadband provider and im with them 24th jan the date it says but didnt really want to keep changing every time but if the speed isnt any better with the other provider as im paying more money with them then i will probably be back as the new provider is £23.90 a month plus 75p caller display and 50gb limit . The way they were talking they dont use ip profiles no port blocking or throttling or management .  Smiley

Re: broadband speed

I've changed your speed profile and this is now set at 16.7MB/s can you run another speed test at http://speedtester.bt.com and make sure its a wired connection and let me know the results.

Re: broadband speed

VP Status Green. This a bit odd, because the previous BT Speedtester result was quite OK, but not this time. Are the results you've seen on the other speedtest sites similar to this last BT Speedtest one?
By the way, is that an LLU provider you are going to? Also I noticed your estimated Line speed was in October, so as you are planning to move I hope you haven't got any deferred Contract fees your will be liable for?

Re: broadband speed

Do you mean ADSL24? I noticed there's some not complimentary comment about there customer support over on Thinkbroadband!
Can you run a wired BT Speedtest again, want to see if the above was repeatable.
