broadband service ceased prior to migration

My broadband service is due to switch on the 29th however has stopped today with an authentication error i assume I've been cut off prematurely despite support team emailing me to state they would stop on 29th . Is there anyway to reinstate till this date as a run a business from home and this gonna cause a lot of problems. I also cannot access members centre.

Re: broadband service ceased prior to migration

Not another one!
There's a systemic problem here with users being cut off early.

Re: broadband service ceased prior to migration

Probably quickest to call Plusnet support by phone.

Shame.  Sad
You'll find information for both of those in the Complaints code of practice document.

And I thought it was only Virgin Media who stooped so low!

It's entirely unintentional and also extremely disappointing!

I'm getting the process looked at as there is obviously something not right there.

That leaves only one complaint route available. Perhaps this is something that should be looked at as well.

Re: broadband service ceased prior to migration

I've looked at this a number of times and have no inclination to change.
Having a complaint route via telephone will without doubt lead to abuse of the system causing people who are raising a valid complaint to have to wait a longer period of time.
We're fully complaint with GC14.
Chris, I'm assuming that you were saying we should look at the complaint channels available rather than something else.

Re: broadband service ceased prior to migration

Yes, and I wasn't suggesting a phone complaint which I quite understand you wouldn't want to do for reasons we discussed well over a year ago IIRC. It's access to the account I'm suggesting you need to look at.

Thanks for the reassurances, that's why PlusNet are not really at all like VM (who I remain certain deliberately disabled a line for which rental (and call plan) had been paid in advance just after me giving notice of leaving!).
Is there really no way of manually temporarily reactivating an account that should still be active (or providing some kind of temporary account for the period concerned)?

Re: broadband service ceased prior to migration

Just to clarify a point, access to the user's own account is the important thing, as there may be ticket information that is relevant that the user may want/need to refer to.
