Re: bbci player (insufficient bandwidth)

Hi there,
Provided we can prove there's a fault we'll be happy to try and push anything through in order to get it sorted, though if we can't prove the issue then it'll be very difficult - especially to get something like a wire replacement done. If we can get proof that this cable is causing drops or at least slowdowns then we'll be happy to try and sort it for you.

Re: bbci player (insufficient bandwidth)

ok, so what sort of info do I need and how can I be sure that the problems Im seeing are related and how can I prove this?
Problems I need to prove are the lines fult are:
random unresponsiveness in my game.
lossing connection to game servers (uk and mostly 12-20ms ping servers).
droping in download speed mostly at night like Anotherone sed.
bbci player buffer problems with 15000kbs on the bbci speedtester.
random time-outs on a ping test to say bbci.
how much would it cost to just pay for new line anyway? It would most likey be cheaper for me to just pay rather use up my small time off.

Re: bbci player (insufficient bandwidth)

Hi Blim,
Up until the early hours of this morning you'd been connected to one of our new IP addresses, which had been known to cause a bit of funkiness with iPlayer. Otherwise your connection looks stable on the surface. Apologies if you've been asked this before but do you connect wired or wireless to your router?
