Yes but their responsibility stops at the test socket which is why you install a filtered faceplate legally as it doesn't affect their part at all as it is fitted in place of the removable lower faceplate

Ditto what Jim said. And I certainly wouldn't welcome an engineers visit if you hadn't tried it in the test socket.

it was in the test socket jo ... then tried it in the front master ... and todate it has been in the test socket for 96hrs and still
cannot get a speed over 1400kbps and noise margin st 9db
any updates on my fault please jojo

profile is usually  2000    ........ would it be worth a reset and snr set at 6db ?
router has be in test socket for well over 100hrs now so your techie guys(or dolls  )  should be able to get a better picture hopefully

I can try a reset if you like, but there's no guarantee that'll be the cure, or that the SNR won't go up again. Your call though.

i was told to try another router which i have allready 
but i swapped it over like a good boy and now connected at  416kbps  ans a snr 7db

i rang back support last night jojo
swapped the router back over and it sync'd at 1670 ....  wiggled the test socket .. re sync'd at 800  .....
tried a re sync a few times after wiggling test socket and it sync'd at a different speed every time except when i didnt touch it and it sync'd at the same speed
so looks like a faulty master socket ( fingers crossed ) ......... just awaiting a call back from PN faults team

Not sure if they've spoke to you but one of the faults team have raised your issue to our suppliers and updated your ticket to that effect.
