another slow/intermittent speed problem

Only been with plusnet a couple of weeks, and hopeless speeds/dropouts so far. When it all goes well I do get around 8Mbps, but that doesn't seem to last (certainly not long enough to stream a movie...)

Anyway, would love any community diagnostic feedback... Here's what I see:

Your Plusnet adviser may ask you for the following information:
1 - Product name: Plusnet Router
2 - Serial number:
3 - Firmware version: 7.275.2_F2704N_Plusnet
4 - Board version: F@ST2704N
5 - Mode ADSL
6 - Uptime: 0 days 01:30:36
7 - Data rate: 1275/10231
8 - Maximum data rate: 1272/9968
9 - Noise margin: 6.1/5.2
10 - Line attenuation: 13.2/26.0
12 - Data sent/received: 40.6M/609.2M
20 - Broadband username:
21 - Wi-Fi network/SSID: DARLEY-3CG6P7
22 - Wi-Fi connections: Enable(802.11 b/g/n(up to 144 Mb/s))20 MHz WPS enabled
23 - Wi-Fi security: WPA2
24 - Wi-Fi channel: Automatic (Smart Wireless)
25 - Firewall: Default
26 - MAC Address: 90:4d:4a:6b:fb:c2
27 - Software variant Version 1.0
28 - Boot loader: 7.275.2

BT speed test (things were going ok when this ran - earlier I got as low as 0.5-1.5Mbps):

Download speed

achieved during the test was - 8.01 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds

is 4 Mbps-21 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 9.03 Mbps
Upload speed

achieved during the test was - 0.94Mbps
 Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 0.83 Mbps

Plus net speed link:

High-speed Broadband

Phone exchange: BRIXTON
Estimated line speed: 15Mb (This may vary between 8.5Mb and 19Mb) - Checked on 2016-03-31 20:08:44
Current line speed: 8.7 Mb

Thanks for any help!

Re: another slow/intermittent speed problem

Looking at your account you've advised of problems with the phone line? If so these are going to most likely be causing the broadband issues too, so they will need resolving first. This is in hand with one of my colleagues who has replied to you earlier today.

If this post resolved your issue please click the 'This fixed my problem' button

Re: another slow/intermittent speed problem

This morning when I woke up indeed the entire phone/broadband is down. But that was the first "phone problem". Anyway, as you say it is now in hand from your colleagues who have replied. So hopefully all will be resolved soon. We shall see.
