i while back in april PN Ramidoodle tweaked my snr at your end and fixed it at 6db max to give me better speeds
this seems to has been reset ?
can this be capped again Please

If it has been reset then the line can't support 6dB.
We are happy to tweak target SNR margins but unfortunately we can't keep going back to perform the same changes on lines that can't support it.
However, you might be interested to use something like DMT Tool and take a look at Oldjim's posts on this thread for some real-life information about using DMT Tool to force SNR margin.

If it was a temporary issue that caused your target SNR margin to increase then it will decrease in time, assuming the line can support it.

capped it at 6db but has been 5.4 to 4 at a sync of 2368
97hrs with no problems yet .... line attenuation is 63.5 so a through put speed of 2mb is good for where i am
