accessing mobile phone via Wifi

Sad Since changing broadband provider to Plusnet I have not been able to connect to Wifi with my Samsung Galaxy S3, it shows disabled.
Can anyone help please?

it shows as disabled on your phone?
sounds stupid but is it turned on on your phone?
