Zero upload speed

My upload speed is zero. Most speed testers will not even connect.  Internet browsing is sooooooo slow. Download speed seems ok but very high ping 100 plus.
Can this be looked at please?
This is with na wired connection.

Re: Zero upload speed

Have you checked if something is uploading via your connection or the upstream corrected/uncorrected error rates as the upstream is apparently interleaved

Re: Zero upload speed

There is nothing uploading or anything different to usual. This started to day after PPOA disconnect. Most of my disconnects are due to PPOA drop out. This has just happened again. I have had this issue in the past as well.  Line is quiet.
I am using a BT HHub4.  Using PP hub makes no difference.

Re: Zero upload speed

Perhaps post screen shots of your router set up page  deleting any personal info  - what OS are you using? Which exchange are you on- are have you checked if any work going on there
or in your cabinet - fibre installs etc.

Re: Zero upload speed

I am back on the HH4 which does not have stats.  The PN router was even worse. My operating system is nothing to do with it. Wired connection is just as bad as wireless. Tried test socket with just a phone and Hub, just the same.  I have had issues with the line before.  Ticket raised. Fibre may be better as cabling from cab to exchange is in a sorry state and the last pair I had was the best effort.

Your comments on the ticket are that the line is more stable now, is that not the case?
If it is more stable at the higher SNR then something is causing noise/errors which means at the moment we shouldn't put you back on 6db.
Is there any noise on the phone line? Plug a handset in to the master socket and dial 17070.

Re: Zero upload speed

Ticket still open. Line has been pinned at 6db and I have still got issues. There is no noise on the line. I am now getting DSL disconnects several time today Black Friday.  An engineer has been arranged for Tuesday.
I have had more than my fair share of line faults and I suspect this is down to poor network investment from listening to previous engineer visits.

Re: Zero upload speed

Engineer visited and could not find a fault with the line. The line is quiet from the master socket and extensions.  BB back. Initially I had drop outs. Bee up for just over 1 day. Errors seem high.
