Why is plusnet restricting my speed?

BT speedtest:
IP profile: 14654kbps
Download speed: 470kbps
Upload speed: 370kbps
With BT router username:
IP profile: 14654kbps
Download speed: 12957kbps
Upload speed: 349kbps
I have had recent connection problems but they are sorted now, the download speeds were much faster with BT router username,
if BT have raised my download speed why haven't plus net followed suit?

It looks as though your IP profile had dropped down to 500 at some point over the last few days and then increased back to 14654. Our system hadn't received a report saying that it needed to move back to the higher profile yet.
I've made the change manually so within the next few minutes you should see your speed get back to normal.

I'm getting speeds of about 9000kbps now which I'm more than happy with, thanks for your help!
