Why is my Internet suddenly so slow?

I pay to have a fast internet connection, but it doesn't always earn the title. It makes watching streaming video service very frustration. OMy upstream connection barely works. I've done all the usual modem resetting tech support always requires but I still have the problem. Any ideas?

I'm afraid that you're going to have to provide more information in order to get constructive advice. First are you on fibre or standard ADSL broadband?

Next what speed should you get? Put your phone number in here and post the resultshttps. https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/

What speed do you get with a wired Ethernet connection between your router and a computer?

Are you using wireless for your streaming? If so which router are you using?

If you can give this data then more positive help can be given.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with your broadband. Can you run through our troubleshooting guides here. If the problem persists please let us know if the problem with your connection occurs solely on wireless connections, or wired connections also?
