Re: Why do I get 10GB limit for lowest price, but not unlimited?

Can I expect the speed to go higher in the next 10days? I was told I can get 5.5mbs down my line, at the moment I am not getting anything near that. I am getting 1.9.

Hi Addnan,
Do you know what your router is actually syncing to the exchange at?
It can take a number of days (10 IIRC) for the line to stabilise and the actuall speed be set.

This is what it says in the router.
Link Information

Uptime: 0 days, 10:40:38

DSL Type: G.992.1 annex A

Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 8,128
Is that what you needed?

Yup... it looks like your router is syncing at the full 8Mb so you should likely experience faster speeds in about 10 days I'd have thought.

I am getting very slow peer to peer speeds at anytime. Right now it is 4.41am and the max any file reaches is 30kbs. I can download any file from the browser at 700kbs+.

As you are on Value the P2P speeds at 4 in the morning is limited to 256kbps

So have you got your b's and B's mixed up? 30kBps=240kbps which match up with the speed limit for P2P and 700kBps=5600kbps which make more sense with your line syncing at the maximum speed.

I don't know the difference between a B and a b. All I see in my program is that it shows download speed 30kB/s. If thats the fastest my p2p will go that means I am going to look for more web based download  Cry

The speed is going up and down a lot today. I know that is normal for the first 10 days. It hit 6.5mb today. I hope it stays at that speed.
