Re: Which version XP

If you do a right click on my computer and select properties you will see under general tab what you have, e.g:
Microsoft Windows XP
Home edition
Service Pack 2
Also i think the upgrade to I.E 7 is a must.

Re: Which version XP

Would agree that firefox is better, but if you are a stickler for IE (like my OH) 7 is better than 6.

Go into:-

I prefer IE7 just for the extra benefit of Tab browsing.

Re: Which version XP

If you have not got Sp2, and I hope you have, may as well download SP3 RC from microsofts website. THis includes SP2, and the millions of bug fixes since SP2.  Its a release candidate, not the final release but it seems to be stable enough.

Re: Which version XP

Quite agree about Firefox - only have IE7 because some sites I visit, like TF1.fr, seem to like it better.
I like FireFTP add on to Firefox - nice free integrated prog  Smiley

Fully aware of that, however the OP was asking about the benefits of upgrade from IE6 to IE7. Roll_eyes
