When is the Plusnet router posted to custumers? How far in advance?

I subscribed last week-end, and my installation is due in 3 working days now, but still no router received.
I was assuming they would have sent the router after taking the order and my initial payment, rather than waiting for too long and risking to have BT coming for the fibre installation, and no router received.

Mine arrived a day or two before the installation date.
BT OR will be able to do their stuff even if you haven't received the router.

Sure, I understand BT Open Reach can do their stuff even if I don't have a router, as they provide the modem, but then it's going to be annoying for me to test the connection or to actually use internet if I don't have the router!

You can connect directly to the modem via a PC or laptop using PPPoE
Not ideal but it gets you started.

You could also keep a lookout in the member centre for the router being changed to dispatched and if it hasn't changed on monday give them a call to get things moving

Mine said it was despatched (and I got a text to confirm) just as it dropped through the letter box
