Quote from: Strat
. Sad

Extremely well put Strat - all of it, which I see no need to quote in full.

My thoughts exactly. The Ask The Boss thread was locked on 8 March; tomorrow is 8 April - 4 weeks 3 days without even an acknowledgement.
Extremely disappointing.  Sad

Re: When can we expect answers to Questions solicited by Peter Jackson?

There were only 40 posts in the original "Ask the Boss" thread.
So far there are 137 posts complaining this object lesson on ignoring the customer
I hope there will be a feeble excuse to explain this behaviour and why it won't be repeated?

Re: When can we expect answers to Questions solicited by Peter Jackson?

How long would it take him to log onto this forum and write a quick apology for the delay, 2 minutes? Blimey he must be a busy man if he can't spare 2 minutes.
Still we may see some movement when the new surveys come out and PlusNet has slipped down the polls again. It's the guys who take the flack on the forums who have to keep making excuses for his ignorance that I feel sorry for.

Someone at Plusnet should go to the CEO's bunker and deliver this thread in the form of an urgent memo
I read a thread in the TBB forum where someone quoted Plusnet as fast becoming "the Ryan Air of ISP's"
given the current situation it's easy to see why.

Re: When can we expect answers to Questions solicited by Peter Jackson?

I suppose the reality is that the forum readership represents a small proportion of actual customers, and the reality is that whilst we might complain, we are still here (so what is the true threat?)
Why *should* he feel under any pressure?
A different direction has clearly been chosen for Plusnet, and its apparently not one which relies upon the traditions that got PN to the place where it was an attractive proposition for BT.
Just look how many senior figures at Plusnet have gone in recent months (info is out there if you look in the right places) at least one has candidly cited a change in direction at PN that they didn't agree with.

Seriously, lots of posters here seem to think that the boards are important to PN, but I think the sad truth is that they were only important to 'Classic Plusnet' - in 'New Plusnet' there is a much smaller place for them IMO.
Some of you may remember my stepping down from moderating these boards, and perhaps wondered why. Its not impossible that the circumstances surrounding that episode were an attempt to make the boards look more corporate, and more of a valuable business tool rather than the customer driven/shaped tool that they have always been...

The answers should be out today.  I'll come back and let you know if we run into an issue.

At LONG last.  I'm sure we'll all believe it when we see it, but thanks anyway for that update.
