What type of cable connects between the BT modem and the plusnet router

I'm planing to replace the supplied cable with a 1m STP cat6 cable. to prevent possible inference due to power supplies. Just need an idea of what cables in use.

The cable that's used to connect the Openreach Modem to your Plusnet router is an Ethernet Cable.
I hope that helps.

I would say a standard straight through from memory - if you have the cable that came with it just see if it has a small band with a "x" on it for crossover.
I'm using a straight through for my BT to TP-Link.

It's a normally wired (ie not crossover) cable but you're wasting your money!
Changing this cable will have zero affect on your broadband performance.
