What sort of download speed should I be getting?

I moved over to Plusnet (from Metronet) on 6/5/08 and my speed is still showing as 'not set' - how long does it take? and what difference does it make.... My d/l speeds are not particularly great.

I suggest you give PlusNet CSC a ring and raise this problem with them. The call waiting time at the moment shows as 4 minutes max.
You have an IP Profile of 5500kbps and have had this for several days (I assume); the value shown in High Speed Broadband Service should be identical to that. The CSC can fix that instantly but you would have to disconnect/reconnect to make use of it.
It's possible the actual speed measured in the BT test is on the low side because the network is busy.
