I'm on monthly PAYG chosen way back specifically because I don't want to be tied in to a yearly contract yet I too got the email today. The freedom to leave without penalty with 30 days notice is worth much more to me than £30, assuming that the penalty for leaving within the 12 months is to pay all remaining monthly charges rather than repaying just the £30.
If there are no complicated terms and conditions or hidden catches, it won't take long to include them on the offer page will it?
