Hello!
I have a TG585 v8 with Software Release: 8.2.7.7
on my network i have 1x Siemens S685IP Phone
1x Dell Vostro 1510 Laptop with windows xista home basic
1 x HP DC7600 PC with windows 7 professional
I have a problem where the two pc's often fail to communicate to each other, even though they are both DHCP.
for example, this evening I was on the laptop downstairs and wanted to RDP onto my PC that i knew was on but couldnt connect, so I tried to PING the pc but came back unresponsive.
I then went onto logmein.com to try and control my pc upstairs - i did, i could connect to my pc upstairs on the same network via logmein but they couldnt ping each other and i couldnt RDP to the pc from laptop?
After a while I was able to connect via RDP, but quite often while im connected to the RDP session it will drop out and say connection couldnt be established.
i run a constant ping between the pc and laptop and there are loads of drop outs.
i have the latest drivers for the nic on pc and wireless adapter on laptop
any ideas on this?
thanks
Nathan

Hi rascalscastles,
Version 8.2.7.8 is now available and was designed to fix some wifi issues customers had experienced. You can find the upgrade and instructions on how to install it here. This may well resolve your issue.

Hi Thanks for your reply.
Is there any way this upgrade could be done down the wires remotely?
Its fine to do it any day during office hours.
thanks

HI rascalscastles,
I'll request that but it will more than likely be tomorrow now.
