Quote from: Adam1V I can still fully appreciate that Peter, But the irony is still that I can create some free accounts and have them moved just for the sake of the bandwidth.
Whilst I don't know for certain, I sincerely doubt that PlusNet's free PAYG accounts allow you to host domains. They are, after all, free.
You can host domains on dialup PAYG, but it costs £29.38 (including VAT) per domain per annum. See http://www.plus.net/residential/dialup/payasyougo_feature_list.shtml

Peter/Jelv,
Thanks for your comments, I can fully appreciate F9's position on this.
@Jelv, Yes i have two accounts, personal and business.
I have the company(s) domain on the business account, and a number of personal domains on the personal account.
@Tony,
Thanks for that, its not a bad idea actually. I dont have a great deal of content, but there are videos and images:
http://www.streetdivers.co.uk
Please dont watch all the videos guys, F9 will moan at me
I have a googlepage website which i use for creating links. I will host some files on there I think.

@Adam1V
Your main page weighs in at 114KB of traffic. There is very little text content on it.
As you say, you can host all of your photos and videos on your googlepages space and just change your links to reference them there.

Tony,
Ive came into a bit of a problem straight away, it seems to have a problem hosting gif images (or png) with no backgrounds:
http://barteh.googlepages.com/images
Is there any other way of hosting images, or do you know why google might display gifs like this?

Adam,
I think you have misunderstood me. You just upload your images/videos to Googlepages webspace (there is an upload link on the right hand side when you are in the main Googlepages interface).
Then, in your page in Plusnet's homepages, you just 'reference' the image which is stored on Googlepages instead of referencing the image in your homepages storage. Your webpage is still on PlusNet, not stored in http://barteh.googlepages.com
I will 'Personal Message' you a link to a (very) simple test page example that does it. In the test page, the page is actually in username.f9.co.uk, but the image that is being displayed is stored in my Googlepages workspace. If you look at the HTML code then you can see how it is referenced.
I do not use Googlepages to actually have a website with - it is far too basic.
I'll PM the link now.

@Adam1V
Since our PM conversation, have you now been able to store all your videos/pictures on the GooglePages storage, and have just the text on your PN site?
Using this method (and storing your javascript include files there are well), you would have to have about 10,000 hits a day to get over the 150MB mark.
