I'm not keen on allowing unknown sites to place cookies onto my PC, especially as there is no valid reason for these 3rd parties to do so.
I could allow 3rd party cookies in - but I have chosen to not accept them for a reason.
The only way to get round Plusnet's poor choices appears to use a different browser for Chat "Chromium" (a Chrome lookalike) which has less security than my standard Firefox browser.
Since I never ordinarily use Chromium, it can gather 3rd party cookies etc as they will never get accessed.
BTW Why is this topic marked as fixed? It is definitely broken. There is just a work-round.
