Re: Webcam

Put a link up to the webcam and we can all see if we have the same issue as you.  We can try at work and then when we get back home onto PN.

Thanks Brabus.I do not know how to put up link but,If you go to Dawlish.com,go to Discussion page and on the list you will see Dawlish seawall, click on that.Scroll down until you see Dawlish webcam embedded. There Is a short ad.(although sometimes you can skip ad.),and there you will see the Dawlish seawall webcam.

Re: Webcam

Not smooth for me either - I'm on a 6.5Mb connection. Quite "jerky" when the train passed!!!

Re: Webcam

Also works fine for me (except that I missed a train going past because of the advert at the start).  My download speed is around 8 Mbps.

Re: Webcam

Train going past was a bit jerky but I put that down to the frame rate of the webcam as the bit rate isn't high enough for it to be smooth

Re: Webcam

Same for me as Oldjim. I would be very surprised at a smooth 25fps stream from a webcam over the internet.

Works fine for some people though.
