Very slow broadband speeds

Is there any chance in the not to distant future that I might one day get a decent broadband speed 0.2 is my norm, life on the computer is like running in diving boots. I've heard about fibre will I ever see it by the way I'm not on a desert island but just outside York.

When you signed up what speed estimate did PN give you?
Is this wireless or Ethernet connection?

To be honest can't  remember if they promised a speed and we've moved since I joined PN

Had everything checked by PN they reckon this is the best they can do, basically told fibre might one day arrive
