VPN stopped connecting

HI folks can you help?
I have been working from home since last March and have been connecting to the office servers all this time just fine.
After starting up the PC yesterday the VPN no longer connects. There have been no changes on my machine at all. The team at work have been trying all day to re connect me but cant see why its not now connecting.
Using windows built in with shared key L2TP/IPsec with pre-shared key, user name and password.
Security properties are all set in VPN properties:
Layer2 Tunnelling protocol with IPsec
Require encryption
Allow these protocols
Unencrypted password PAP

Any ideas?
