VDSL Modem

Hi,
I understand that a VDSL modem is provided with the Fibre product as well as a router - am I allowed to use my own VDSL modem/router combination (i.e Dreytek Vigor 2850)?
Cheers

Re: VDSL Modem

2850 doesn't have a VDSL modem in it, but you can use it as a router.

The Vigor 2850 is a variant of our Vigor 2830 series with the addition of an extra VDSL interface (for the BT Infinity™ service) for connectivity up to 50Mb/s. This makes the Vigor 2850 ideal for users with ADSL now who might upgrade to VDSL later, but also for using VDSL as our primary feed and ADSL as your secondary or backup feed.
