Using the TG585 in Thailand

I have the Thomson TG585 v7 router from PlusNet but am currently in Thailand - and want to use the router out here.
But I can not make the settings!
To connect to my local ISP I need to set:
User-name - no problems
Password - no problems
Protocol - PPPoE LLC  --- I can set PPPoE but there is no provision for the LLC, and I suspect it is set to vcmux as that seems to be the UK standard.
VPI - needs to be 1 and VCI needs to be 32, but the modem only offers a list of 3 VPI/VCI choices, none of which work.
Can I make the router work here?
It currently has firmware version 8.2.23.0 installed

Hmm,
There may be a way to do it via telnet. I'll find out for you.

Hi barberriley
Not sure if you know much about CLI commands but here's the manual for it. Couldn't tell you how to do it to be honest. Maybe some bright spark on here can

Re: Using the TG585 in Thailand

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried telnet but some of the messages I got were just above my knowledge limit!
I think I'll have to continue using my old router in conjunction with the Thomson one - have to use it for the wifi to the other machine.
