If you are one of those affected *please send me a PM* and I will try to place an order for you on Monday to uncap your upstream speeds.
Please don't reply to this post with a request as the chances are that it will get missed.

Quote from: Jameseh Confession: For a number of customers who've upgraded onto the trial and hasn't signed up for Max Premium are quite likely to have their upstream speeds capped @ 448Kbps.
Is this a guide to future policy?

Just an update on this - I've been having a bang-head-into-brick-wall morning with BTs ordering system, but I'll get onto these when I have a chance.

Quote from: Axis On a related issue, I was provisioned on ADSl2 (not ADSL2+) then after lots of ticket writing I achieved ADSL2+.
Someone has just reduced me back to ADSL2 again.
I also seem to be on ADSL2 instead of ADSL2+ (greatly increased upstream speed but little or no increase downstream and info via telnet says ADSL2).
Have put message to that effect on my ticket regarding going onto the trial but haven't heard a thing back.

I have.
The CSR is following the script for speed faults on MAX DSL. It now says:-
Quote Dear Mr Boden,
I have further tested your line, but the BT testing service has still not shown any issues with the service.
Now this does not mean there is not a fault, but the only step we have left is to escalate this issue with BT.
I must make you aware before we do this, that if BT further investigate and confirm that there is no fault, or that the issue is being caused by anything at your side, then they charge a failed fault check fee to you, which starts at £144.00 +VAT.
Please let us know if you would like this escalating further.
It's hardly surprising that they found nothing wrong - the fault diagnostics are for ADSL1.
They don't find it strange that my router says (in part)
adsl: ADSL driver and PHY status
Status: Showtime Channel: FAST, Upstream rate = 888 Kbps, Downstream rate = 6681 Kbps
Link Power State: L0
Mode: ADSL2
Channel: Fast
Trellis: U:ON /D:ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime
Down Up
SNR (dB): 7.2 12.1
Attn(dB): 34.0 17.9
Pwr(dBm): 0.0 12.8
Max(Kbps): 7348 888
Rate (Kbps): 6681 888

Is that correct? It looks like speeds are being capped @ 448Kbps for users who were on Max Premium as well. See http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,75177.0.html

I've spent the last 2 hours placing modify orders. If people want to PM me as per my earlier post, I'm happy to look.

So for any non-member how do they (a) send Jameseh a PM or (b) know that they are supposed to send Jameseh a PM?
I'd suggest that PN need to send an email to everyone on the trial telling them to ring in or raise a ticket if their upstream sync is at or below 448.
