Upload speeds

I've notice its taking ages for me to upload photos and videos, but it never used to when I was with Sky.
I have been with Plusnet for just over 2 weeks. My upload speed with sky where pretty good, about a MB, but plusnet is much much slower.
Whats the maximum upload speed with Plusnet?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Upload speeds

As you have posted this question in the ADSL board, I'll assume you have ADSL and not fibre.
Your upload speed will depend on which ADSL type your router is using to connect to the exchange, the quality of your connection, whether your upload profile is capped or not, and whether you have paid extra for a premium upload speed.
Can you post here your modem/router's ADSL statistics ?

Re: Upload speeds

So you are on "ADSL2+", with a good quality connection, the upstream appears to be uncapped, and no premium service.
With that upload data rate, then your upload speed test results should be about 1Mbps, which is about as good as it gets.
