Upload Speed Issue

Hi, I have been a customer for nearly a decade but am a first time poster.
I have long suffered a slow upload speed and done many plusnet tests including getting the BT engineer out (which helped the DL speed no end) but still a slow upload.
I am seeing many posts here of people getting there upload speed uncapped and am wondering if I could get the same.
Many thanks Welshvixen

Re: Upload Speed Issue

Hi welshvixen, welcome to the forums.
Are you able to post your routers connection stats for everyone to see. Also if you're able to let us know know what speeds your getting that would be helpful.

Re: Upload Speed Issue

Yes, I'm afraid you are as fast as you can get for upload on this technology.
Sadly, fibre isn't available in your area.

Re: Upload Speed Issue

Thanks for the replies!
Although my results are showing an upload of 1mbps, I was actually surprised by it when typing, previously it had seemed to be capped at 0.30mbps.
I guess I'll have to wait for my neck of the woods to leave the stone ages before I can even make a video call in decent quality!  Crazy
Thanks again for the replies, Welshvixen.

Re: Upload Speed Issue

@ welshvixen - Assuming you're in Wales, have you looked here http://www.superfast-cymru.com/where-and-when about if fibre is coming to your area soon?
