Upgrade Charge from BBYW1 to PlusNet Value

Hi
One of my referees wants to change from BBYW1 to PlusNet Value.
However when clicking through the screens it wants to charge an 'upgrade fee' of £41.95.
I thought existing customers could move free and also request a 12 month contract?
Can anyone clarify?
Thanks, Paxy

Correct.
The problem is he is still in a 12 month contract so the system wants to charge the contract cancellation charge.
Best thing is to raise a ticket and get it done manually.

ok - thanks for the quick reply.  Will get him to do it manually - and assume that there shouldn't be a charge for moving?
Thanks, Paxy

Well Jim and I both did that in Feb, if they have any extras, they can carry those over to value i.e. free web  space

"Free" web space isn't an extra.
It's part of the standard BBYW package.

Yes but it isnt part of Value, so if you move from BBYW to value you would loose it if you didnt ask.  I had free web space and still do, when I joined I got 250M allowance
