Hi all,
My account is Plusnet Unlimited, when my exchange is enabled ADSL2+ at the end of March will I automatically get updated to work with it ?
I've seen a few posts on the forum commenting about the attenuation of the line and thing I may have a problem there...?
The following is from my SAFECOM GART2-4115
Modem Status
Connection Status Connected
Us Rate (Kbps) 448
Ds Rate (Kbps) 8128
US Margin 28
DS Margin 2
Trained Modulation GDMT
LOS Errors 0
DS Line Attenuation 24
US Line Attenuation 11
Peak Cell Rate 1056 cells per sec
CRC Rx Fast 0
CRC Tx Fast 0
CRC Rx Interleaved 4647
CRC Tx Interleaved 146
Path Mode Interleaved

You can't have ADSL2+ on Unlimited.
If you switch to Pro or Premium you will get it. With your attenuation you could expect to get around 18000 Kbps.
Incidentally, have you looked at having interleaving turned off - your stats suggest that would be well worth a try.

How do you tell if interleave is turned on, on a DG834G?

Look at the telnet pages for the detailed stats. The easiest way to do that is using RouterStats
