Hi all,
Ive posted several times as of late trying to get to the bottom of my internet issues which occur on sevral PC's, Problems are:
Dropping from on demand services, Games, Live Voice chat, Live Video chats/streams, (distortion, freezing and disconenctions)
temporary loss of internet (a few seconds to 30/40 seconds) with no disconect,
Actual disconnections occur usually once per day or 2 days, seem to have more issues when it is raining/damp outside (we had some nice weather recently where i had no issues and held sync quite well),
SNRM varies by up to 8 db dependent on time of day last sync occurred.(im on a 6db profile)
Tried several things as follows:
Replaced:
Router
Cabling
Filters
Attempted:
Different Wifi Adapters
Plugging into master socket
running wireshark captures(TCP DUP ACK, TCP out-of-order are typical problems found at same time)
Locating any possible noise
Quiet Line Test using master socket and no fiulters (seems quiet?)
New router shows more detailed information about connection, here are a few snippets from today:
HEC's going up quite quick and issues were very apparent during this small period. I'm under the impression HEC's are the bad errors you don't want to see as they are uncorrectable i can only assume i have a line fault though before reporting can anyone think of anything else to try?
Any advice welcome

Have you tried not using wireless just to see if you get the same issues?

Had same issue last night over wifi, tried using ping results using a NAS(over cat5) while getting some cable from up stairs for the laptop.
Ping results on the NAS showed 25% packet loss but router re synced automatically before i could see if the problem was identical over cable.
I'll keep the cable nearby now so i can see if i get identical issues over cat5 when it begins to occur again though its pretty calm and dry weather wise at the moment which seems to be when its more stable.

High winds again today, perfect time to test and it has the same problem over cat5 as it does wifi,
SNRM seems healthy at the moment too,
I tried my LAN connection with default values at first, then with a few changed values which have caused issues with games etc in the past for me both had the problems described in first post.

Edit:
Connection dropped at 11:15, SNRM showed 6.3 and has now re synced at a higher rate
This means when peak time hits i will be forced to disconnect and reconnect to have any hope of doing things tonight.
