Trying to add Max premium. *Now added results + new question*

Well after discussing it with a couple of members on here I decided to order the max premium service , I clicked all the links and ordered it , but it appears for some reason this service is only added through the dreaded "ticket" system.
It said at the time that the average response time was 6 hrs , so far its been 17 hours and counting.
It stated when ordered it only takes a day iirc before the service goes live , but I am guessing thats once someone has actually read the ticket and started the process , so who only knows when that will be.
If any staff read this and would be kind enough to look into it for me , the ticket number is - 33342891
I will update this thread with results of the new service once we have it.
Cheers
Paul.

Re: Trying to add Max premium service.

Hi Paul,
That pool isn't worked by the CSC, it's picked up differently to normal tickets. When you visit trials.plus.net it should say this:
Quote
Welcome to the Plusnet Trials opt in/out page
Here you can choose whether you would like to opt in or out of some of our service trials. Please follow the links below to raise an appropriate ticket with us.
Please note these ticket pools are not directly monitored by the Customer Support Centre and that it may take up to 7 to 14 days for your ticket to be acknowledged.

Re: Trying to add Max premium service.

Ok service is now working.
Download speed appears the same , upload speed has gone from 370 to just over 700 so pretty happy with that  Smiley

I am starting to wander if a bit more speed can be squeezed from my download , check out the router stats below and then check out the bt speed tester results.

Link Information

Additional Information:

Any thoughts appreciated , also how do I find out what plusnet have set my download speed at their end?

Cheers

Paul.

Re: Trying to add Max premium. *Now added results + new question*

That speed test result doesn't look unreasonable. Are you connect wired or wireless to the router (wireless can often be a bit slower). Tweaking your MTU and RWIN may help (depending on your Windows version).

Re: Trying to add Max premium. *Now added results + new question*

I have similar stats to you:

Connection Speed 8128 kbps 832 kbps
Line Attenuation 20 db 6.5 db
Noise Margin 10 db 15 db
What speed do you get from other speed testers?
