I can't really expect plusnet to do anything about it, since its outta their hands.
For the time being I am using that tunnel. Its been bad for months anyway, so I don't think the 'third party' has any intention of addressing the issue tbh. Or maybe the are oblivious to it.

also alas http to the forum (https://www.pandemic-legion.com/forums/) is equally as sketchy with frequent time outs, no data sents etc.
its terrible on the weekends by which I mean, like right now for example, I can't even load the website to make a post.
I'm also at the mercy of someone else's internet connection.

As you can see there's still plenty of packet loss and the latency is pretty horrific, but nowhere near as bad as on the route we take (circa 800ms a couple minutes ago)
