Re: Training, use plusnet router?

Cool will leave the modem/router alone for the next week or 2 just to be safe. Is it still recommended to do the daily/early morning reboots though? Sorry for all the questions its the first time I've been on DSL I've been spoilt by fibre in the past.

It's not a problem - it's better to be sure with these things.
I wouldn't recommend doing any reboots at all to be honest. If your line connects at a reasonable speed that is in line with the estimate, I'd keep it that way in my opinion.

Re: Training, use plusnet router?

Well as Matt said, I was on ADSL2+ the next day. I haven't rebooted anything since and the lines been getting slowly faster. Creeping close to 6 Mbps (Not a huge increase, but anythings welcome when we're stuck on such poor speeds). More impressively the upload speed has doubled to about 1Mbps which is much more usable.
Shame we can't get fibre, especially as my mates being upgraded to 152Mbps on virgin soon which he loves rubbing in my face, but I appreciate the support Smiley thanks!
