Re: Traffic shaping during off peak hours?

Ok, I suppose there's nothing else I can do, I think the connection would've reached 72 hours had I not done a BT SpeedTest on Saturday night Sad

Re: Traffic shaping during off peak hours?

Can you run the speed test again (just the first test). I'm puzzled why you are seeing 7150 when Joanne is seeing 500.

That is odd, I'll check it when I'm home tonight.

Re: Traffic shaping during off peak hours?

Throughput according to BT speedtest site is 7150.
Quote
Download speedachieved during the test was - 439 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :8128 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 7150 Kbps

Jojo, can you check the number associated with my account is correct and whether it being wrong would change anything?
It should end in 7958, the phone number at my old property ended in 7758 and I don't think the record was fully updated during the move, I've asked about 3-4 times for it to be changed.

Re: Traffic shaping during off peak hours?

...about the profile... I'm not sure why you get that from the speedtester. Once the 72 hours are up tonight I;ll get it raised if it's not changed.

Re: Traffic shaping during off peak hours?

Hi SiMania,
Annoying. I'm going to reset the SNR which will hopefully kick it into action.

How long is that likely to take? I'm away for a few days now.

Re: Traffic shaping during off peak hours?

Hi SiMania,
It doesn't look like the SNR reset has had any effect so I have raised it to our suppliers and will keep an eye out for updates.

Re: Traffic shaping during off peak hours?

Hi SiMania,
I've just ran a line test and it's all showing as 7150 now, so all good Smiley Should be the same at your end now.
