Just looking into controlling traffic bandwidth for certain uses and wondered if anyone has had much success in shaping with the Plusnet supplied Netgear WNR1000V3? In particular I am looking to limit YouTube traffic at certain times of the day and know it uses port 80 but don't want to restrict web traffic. Also looking to limit Minecraft which I have set to 'Low' but not entirely sure what low is in real numbers on this device.
Thanks
Thanks

I'm interested to read the replies you get to this post. I didn't realise you could limit bandwidth to certain sites and as my kids are youtube addicts, it sounds like something I would want to do myself

Not sure that this router can do so as it's a Stateful firewall from my understanding, whereas an application layer one could definitely do so. The stateful one works by examing ports basically speaking and not upper layer applications.
