Ticket 52971173

Hi, Can someone please take a look at this ticket I have open.. I raised it as Ive been having a few problems watching Loveflim and Netflix. I'm due to be moved to ADSL2+ tomorrow however they reply on the ticket says there are a few errors on the line.. I'm worried this will affect the switch over? I've replied to the ticket however you guys are much faster at helping and i need your help.

Hi daskinner,
As the ticket reply states, there is no indication that errors on your line will be carried over after the change to 21CN. This still hasn't happened yet, but is due today.

ok fingers crossed they don’t.. Last night I moved back to the 585v8 router just incase the netgear was coursing the problems.
Please can you let me know when I've been switched over? I'm in work so I can't check
Once done I'm thinking about getting the upload cap removed as my son plays online games and uses youtube alot, I also like to watch lovefil and netflix, do you think removing the cap is a good idea?

Jojo.. Must be worth a try then. Will it have any effect on the download speed?

Once it's switched over I can do that, just give us a nudge Smiley
You should noticed a brief drop in sync when it's happening so keep an eye out for that.

Just hoping the switch clears the errors which were showing on my line.. I'll reply to the ticket in 72 hours and ask they check it.

Hi Jojo, Thanks for sorting the upload for me the change completed in the early hours of this morning.
I have had to reply to this ticket as I feel my line still has errors as my speed as isn't as good on ADSL2+ on the Plusnet 585v8 than on the on the old networking using my Netgear DG834GT router. Could you please give someone a nudge to look at this for me.

HI daskinner,
I've just ran a test and there are no errors showing now. The sync speed is only slightly below what I would expect on ASDL2+ so there won't be anything we can do about that in the first 10 days. You can put your netgear on though, if you think it might sync higher.

Thanks Jojo, I think i'll swap back to the Netgear tomorrow morning and see what happens, it will be intresting to see if the line errors return when I go back to the Netgear would you mind chacking again on Monday one the Netgear has been plugged in for a few days?
out of intrest what do you expect the sync to be? I've been on a few sites and it says around 7200
