Hi
I'm new to Plusnet and have been provided with a TG585 v8 router running v 8.2.7.8 software.
I have been unable to make any wireless connections to the router with attempts being recorded in the router Event Log as "LOGIN wireless station [mac address] can't get authorized.". Plusnet Support were unable to help, diagnosed a faulty router and sent a replacement which, lo and behold, exhibits exactly the same symptoms.
However I was able to make wireless connections by changing <Home Network / Wireless Access Point / WPA-PSK Encryption Key>, after which there were no further problems. I have repeated this with the original router which now works successfully.
I can only conclude that the preset WPA-PSK Encryption Key within the routers is different from those displayed on he html page, and that there is more than likely a batch of similar routers in existence.
The solution is simple: Change the WPA-PSK Encryption Key.
I hope this may be of use to others.
Best Wishes.
