Thomson TG585 or Technicolor TG582n - which is best

I often see people talking about the Thomson TG585 and the Technicolor TG582n.  I read with interest but never quite have a clue on the 2 routers.

If you had the choice which would you use and why?  Do the 2 routers work differently on ADSL and ADSL2+?

Which version of the TG585? The main difference is the wireless: TG585v7 11g, TG585v8 dubious "with some n features", TG582n proper 11n.
