Thomson Router Setup

I've just helped a friend sign up to plus.net and noticed in the "Setting up your Thomson Gateway" instructions it says "During Spring 2009 we'll be introducing a new system that'll automatically set up your connection for you..." 
Has this new scheme been implemented yet?

We're actually in the trials of this at the moment and you should see more news over the next few weeks.
