Thomson 585v7 Wireless Problems

Hello,
Has anyone else had issues connecting to the Thomson 585v7 router wirelessly? We sucessfully got the first laptop connected wirelessly and online really quickly but when we try to connect a second it constantly says security key mismatch (we've checked it many times, entered in uppercase etc).
The laptop I'm using runs windows 7 - is this an issue? It even says you can connect without entering a security by pressing a button on the router instead - this hasn't worked either.

if you follow this link 
http://community.plus.net/library/hardware/how-to-upgradedowngrade-the-firmware-on-the-thomson-585v7...;
and upgrade to the latest firmware you should find that the WPS (the button pressing option) is disabled and it will be able to connect with the normal passkey. If you have changed any of the default settings on the router you may need to change these back, otherwise this should be fine.
