The "up to 76Mb" thing?

Hello!
I had my plusnet fibre broadband installed on Tuesday (8th April). The transfer from Sky LLU went without hitch and the installers (Kelly Comms) did a neat and tidy job and everything appears to be fine. My question is about the "up to 76 Mb" claim. My line speed test in the BT checker shows a High of 50.7 Mbps and a low of 35.2 Mbps on the downstream rate estimate.
Here is the screen gab:

It appears that plusnet have taken the lowest possible estimate and provisioned me 40/10, ignoring the possible speed of 50.7 Mbps at the high end of the checker.
I have been asking around on an other forum (thinkbroadband.com) and based on the information from BT Wholesale Broadband Performance diagnostics test:

it has been suggested that my speed could well be higher if it were not restricted to 40/10.
Is it possible that my line could be given the chance to see if it could get the higher speed?
Many thanks.

Hi plumster,
Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community
I've placed an order for you to be moved onto 80/20 to see if this improves things for you.
