Hi, its unlikely to be the router causing your slowness. I've had a look at your account and you are definitely slower than you use to be!
Your line seems to be fluctuating between about 9Mbps and 3.8Mbps which it is currently at and is the slowest it's been.
I suspect the disconnections we are seeing on your line are causing the BT DLM to lower your speeds to make your line more stable:
Is your phone line nice and quiet?

hi
kelly
the phone extension it was always on so i had to move to a diffrent socket which where it is for now and it is nearer to master socket then it has ever been
i thought it was the bt thing slowing our line down should that come off in a few days when it is been on 16 hours now with no down turn
or do you need to reset your end for it to find its own speed again
hi kelly the phone like it has always been
many thanks

Are you using microfilters on all your phones? Also, do you have a Sky box, and is that filtered too?

Quote from: cbate no microfilters on other phone connections
should they have
Only if they have something plugged in to them - telephone, fax machine, etc.

OK. It's worth raising a fault with us at http://faults.plus.net so we can investigate further.
