Technicolor TG582n FTTC - Home Network Issue

Since upgrading to fibre, and my router was replaced with a Technicolor TG582n FTTC, I am having problems seeing my ZyXEL NSA325 on my home network?  The device can be pinged but I can no longer access the shares via Windows 7.
If I take the router out of the equation it becomes visible again? I've found an article that some routers block broadcast on the internal network and this can be an issue.  Anyone have any ideas that might help?

Re: Technicolor TG582n FTTC - Home Network Issue

Hi pjknighton,
There should be no issues with the router seeing the server. It is worth checking that both the router and ZyXEL are on the same IP range though. Assuming they are, I’d recommend checking with the ZyXEL support team to see if they can suggest anything further.
