TL-WR2543ND Connection Settings for Fibre

Hi - New Fibre user here ,
I want to swap the Plusnet technicolour Router out for the above TP Link one as I had endless trouble on O2 with with the same model and after reading the forums here it seems the plusnet one is no better ?
I have set it to PPOE and entered my username and password but it still doesn't connect . Am I missing something?

What did you enter as your username? It needs to be your broadband username which is of the form accountname@plusdsl.net where accountname is the name you use to log into the Member Centre.

Hi,
I had the username@plusdsl.net , Its working now . Seems I am a bit impatient and the wan connection takes a bit of time to connect.
