THOMSON TG585 v7

I'm seeing something very odd with my Thomson.
Configured it using the auto configure wizard and it shows the internet connection as "Always On"
But if I do a power cycle (or a restart) then most times it doesn't actually reconnect unless I click on Connect and when I do that about 50% of the time it just says "Disconnected by user" and it takes a couple of goes to connect.
Its almost as if after a restart the ADSL line doesn't actually become available for a while even though I can see the line speeds and SNRs etc.

Re: THOMSON TG585 v7

I've found that the Thomson does take longer than most routers to settle after a reboot but it always connects itself if left to its own devices. If you wait long enough does the router still not manage to establish a connection for you?

Re: THOMSON TG585 v7

I think I usually loose patience with it after about 3 minutes.
I guess I need to pull the plug on it sometime and just sit and wait.
