TG582n SN margin 3dB OK ?

After having connection problems for a while Plusnet supplied a new router, which has cured the problem, however a question.
I noticed this morning that the router had done a resync, after 8 days uptime from first TG582n switch on.
I notice that it has used ADSL2+ (992.5) instead of my usual ADSL2 (992.3)
Routerstats show Bit tones go up to 203 with only 2 ADSL2+ tones at 265 and 266, 1 bit each.  Huh
The attenuation has gone up from 47dB to 50dB, but I think that is normal for ADSL2+ ?
It has also synced with a SN margin of 3dB  Undecided
This has given me a faster sync speed.
I did have a 3dB profile with my old router, without any problems.
Do you think I should do anything or just leave alone and see how it goes ?
Maybe I should do a resync later, when the SN margin drops to 1dB ?
Also what is the correct procedure to manually resync a TG582n ?
Derek
I did a reboot at 9pm when the SN margin had dropped to 1dB now back on ADSL2 and usual stats.

Re: TG582n SN margin 3dB OK ?

I've checked your connection and the downstream SNR is at 6.6dB, the current target for your SNR is 3dB but it is struggling to meet that.
It would be worth monitoring to see how it goes and leave connected where possible.
If you do need to do a resync, you'd be best to login to your router clicked disconnect, then power down. Then do the opposite to reconnect.

Chris
Thank you for that information. I will leave it alone and see how it goes.
