Hi
If I enable address based filtering (parental control) my browsing becomes unusable, sites timeout etc.
I've disabled the option and i'm back up to speed, but after doing some tests,
i.e. removed all the addresses and tick the 'enable box' and allow unknown sites (effectively enabled with no sites blacklisted).
my speeds drop considerably . this seems to happen regardless of the amount of blacklisted sites.
I've had a good search of the forums but not found this particular issue.
Heres the Technicolor details, maybe someone has a fix (other than use something like openDNS)?
Software Release: 8.C.M.0
Software Variant: DG
Boot Loader Version: 1.0.5
Product Code: 3684778B
Board Name: DANT-T
thanks
FTD

From "customer release note , main track slotted release R8.4.3"
http://www.technicolorbroadbandpartner.com/getfile.php?id=7446
"Services - Parental Control / Web Site Filtering
Using Parental Control, i.e. URL-based, or content-based filtering, negatively impacts the Technicolor Gateway
download performance."
Looks like it's still not fixed on 8.C.M.O
Opendns may be a better option for your web filter.
