Switching to Direct Debit

Just a quick query
I placed my order yesterday, selected the card only payment option and used my credit card so that payment could be authorised pronto and Plusnet could put the migration order into BT Openslow (one week to migrate and its 2008, geez).
Am going to leave this as is until my first payment is taken but am thinking of setting up as a DD instead of it being charged to my Amex card.
I can see you can set up sources of funding so my question is if I put my bank details in and then allow my first payment to be charged and then delete the card will it cause me a problem?

I wouldn't tempt fate. Leave it until you are connected. And welcome to PN.

If you're coming from a BTw connection, then migrations can actually complete as quick as the next working morning if the order is placed slightly differently with BT.

Re: Switching to Direct Debit

We generally won't place 1 day migration orders as the success rate is a bit below 3/5 working day migrations.
