Re: Swap from ADSL MAX to wbc Re ticket 511978036

I was right it lost sync last night and swapped back to adsl2 but with poor sync reset dsl connection and now back on adsl2+ sync just over 5000.
Such a shame as it was so stable as long as the exchange kept me on adsl2

Re: Swap from ADSL MAX to wbc Re ticket 511978036

Hi adamtemp64,
I don't think it would go on ADSL2 unless the sync was lower. I've just been having a Google around and it doesn't look like you can telnet with that router or force modulation, so I'm not sure what you could do apart from changing router. That said, I think your line's performing really well.

Re: Swap from ADSL MAX to wbc Re ticket 511978036

Thanks Jo
The 2700hg 2wire is very good on long lines but lacks modification.
Yes line is dooing well but I was supprised of the changes since we had the 6db and interleaving applied and it stayed on adsl2.
I do not know why the change to adsl2+ took place or why I am now fast path with 3db target snr?

Neither do I, but I wouldn't change things for now, unless it started to cause problems. Smiley

Re: Swap from ADSL MAX to wbc Re ticket 511978036

AFAIK the command to force ADSL2 is
xdsl debug multimode config=t1.413issue2+g992.3_annex_a

I'm not sure why you'd have a problem with that. Can't you just copy the username and password from your other router?

Re: Swap from ADSL MAX to wbc Re ticket 511978036

Hi adamtemp64,
It should just have one that says 'other'. All the other settings will be same anyway, so if you just go past that you'll be able to enter your username and password.
